How to Make Delicious Paneer Bhurji: A Step-by-Step Guide



Paneer bhurji is a popular Indian dish with crumbled paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cooked with onions, tomatoes, and spices. It's a quick and easy breakfast, lunch, or dinner recipe. Ingredients:

  • 200 grams paneer (Indian cottage cheese), crumbled
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions:

Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add the chopped onions, green chili, ginger, and garlic to the pan. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.

Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they become soft and mushy.

Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt to the pan. Mix well and cook for a minute.

Add the crumbled paneer to the pan and mix until well combined with the spices and vegetables.

Cook for 2-3 minutes until the paneer is heated and well coated with the spices.

Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or rice.
